Charity Concert
The traditional charity concert at Karlsgymnasium Bad Reichenhall on February 27 was a wonderful success. More than 150 students and teachers took part.
For over 20 years, we have been arranging school sponsorships for children in the mountain villages, enabling school attendance for hundreds of children. With €50 per year, a girl or boy can attend the village school, and with €200 per year, they can attend a higher school.
We ensure that the poorest families benefit most from sponsorship.
From the very beginning, we consciously chose to avoid personal school sponsorships, primarily for reasons of organisation, but we also want to prevent inequalities arising through individual gifts – often donated with the best of intentions – that could lead to disappointment among the other school children.

The review of 25 years of Karakoram Aid will be available here shortly.
Once again, the widely traveled geography teacher Eduard Spielbauer supported the Karakoram Aid Initiative with a benefit lecture. On November 26, 2025, he spoke about his experiences in sub-Saharan Africa.
Many thanks for his commitment.
For the second time, development aid worker Antonie Lindner from Neuhofen was able to enlist Chiemgau filmmaker Stefan Erdmann for a benefit event. With his impressive documentary on Iceland, he took the audience on a journey through spectacular landscapes.
The proceeds from the evening at the Sparkasse Eggenfelden’s event hall will benefit the children in the mountain villages of the Braldo Valley—a heartfelt project that Antonie Lindner has been supporting with great dedication for several years.
